🔼 Hinkle Hosts. While the men’s squad is on the road in Cincy, the women are back at Hinkle for the second time in 2026 when the Friars of Providence roll into town.

Both teams are looking to climb the BIG EAST standings with Providence having dropped four of their past five outings.

Butler’s offense has been a key to their success with a 77.9 ppg average in wins and 53.2 ppg in losses.

Tip time is set for 7 p.m. tonight.

🔼 Back To Work. After a week off, the Butler men’s basketball team returns to action tonight in a critical BIG EAST showdown against Xavier.

The Bulldogs and Musketeers are set for a 6:30 pm EST tip-off on FS1.

Butler will look for its offensive attack to lead the way as the ‘Dawgs are averaging 91.0 ppg in their 10 wins this season.

🔼 The Boys Are Back. 30 days. That’s all that separates us from the return of Butler Baseball.

This week, the full squad returned to the diamond to start final preparations for the upcoming 2026 campaign, which is set for Friday, Feb. 13 with a three-game weekend series at UT-Martin.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Boris “Babe” Dimancheff (1947 Chicago Cardinals in the NFL Championship Game)

Dimancheff played two seasons at Butler and several years later, he was taken in the 1944 NFL Draft. He played seven professional seasons, including helping the Cardinals win the 1947 Championship game (before the Super Bowl existed) over the Eagles.
