🔼 Friday Night Lights. Coming off back-to-back BIG EAST wins, the Butler men’s basketball squad returns to the floor at Hinkle for a Friday night showdown with Marquette on FS1.

Finley Bizjack looks to continuing his scoring prowess after three 20+ point performances over the past four games, averaging 20.5 points over that span.

Tip time at Hinkle is set for 8 p.m.

🔼 Super Saniya. For the second straight week, the Butler women’s hoops squad enjoyed a winning Wednesday at Hinkle, this time riding a career night from Saniya Jackson to a 73-67 victory over visiting DePaul.

Jackson was spectacular for Butler recording her first career double-double. The redshirt sophomore poured in a career-high 22 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting performance from the floor. The Fort Wayne native added 10 rebounds, four assists and a steal in the contest. 

Kennedy Langham and Lily Zeinstra rounded out the Bulldogs in double figures with 16 and 13 points, respectively. 

🔼 Experienced Addition. Perry Kitchen, an NCAA College Cup champion who was drafted No. 3 overall in the MLS SuperDraft and owns U.S. Men's National Team experience, has joined the Butler men's soccer program as an assistant coach.

Butler head coach Ian Sarachan made Kitchen his first staff hire after Kitchen most recently served as an ambassador and coach with Hoosier Premier Academy.

Kitchen's pro career spanned more than 10 seasons and two continents. He was the third overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, landing first at D.C. United. He was a finalist for the 2011 MLS Rookie of the Year and was later voted the club's MVP in 2013, the year in which his side won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The defensive midfielder scored a career-high five goals in 2014 to complement his four assists that season.
