🔼 All Bizness. When you lead your team to a 2-0 week in league play and average over 25 points per game, you’re going to garner some attention.

That’s exactly what Finley Bizjack did last week, which helped him earn the accolade of the BIG EAST Player of the Week. It is the first such honor of his career.

The junior guard from Trophy Club, Texas averaged 26.0 points per game over the Bulldogs' two outings last week. He shot 54 percent from the field, 47 percent from three-point range and 91 percent at the free throw line (19-for-21). He added 3.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.

🔼 Roll Call. After a career performance in a home win last week, Saniya Jackson earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Jackson poured in a career-high 22 points against the Blue Demons and posted a career-high 10 rebounds in the contest. The Fort Wayne native added four assists and a steal against DePaul.

Against Marquette, Jackson nearly posted her second double double in as many games, recording 12 points and nine rebounds against the Golden Eagles. Jackson added three assists in the contest against Marquette. Jackson averaged 17.0 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game across the week for Butler. This is Jackson's first weekly honor of the season.

🔼 Nine Days Away. Just nine days separates us from the return of Butler lacrosse, who is set to take the field this weekend in an exhibition against UIndy.

The Bulldogs, who were picked sixth in the BIG EAST poll this week, will open up the 2026 campaign next Friday, Feburary 6 at Detroit Mercy.
