🔼 The Running Men. It may be winter outside, but the Butler men’s track & field has been heating up the indoor track.
This week, two event groups for the Bulldogs earned top-15 national rankings.
With an average time of 8:02.15 as a group, the men’s 3k group sits #8 nationally, while the men’s mile group sits at #15 with an average time of 4:03.22.
🔼 A Game Changer. Butler Athletics and Playfly Sports, the sports industry's leading revenue maximization company, recently announced a partnership with Droplight. The multi-year agreement is the largest and most comprehensive sponsorship agreement in Butler Athletics history.
The partnership with Droplight will highlight many of the partners and businesses within its network, including Desnuda Tequila, Call Sign, Pregame, Indiana Small Batch, and others.
Droplight is a strategic growth partner that plugs brands into a powerful ecosystem of companies, sports teams, and live events. From racing paddocks to major stages like LightX, Droplight creates partnerships and cross-pollinated campaigns that put clients in rooms and relationships they couldn't access on their own. By aligning strategy, operations, and brand storytelling with high-impact partners, Droplight helps organizations of any size unlock new value, bigger audiences, and faster opportunities than they could build alone.
🔼 Hosting The Hoyas. It’s bounce back time for the Butler men’s hoops squad.
After a tough midweek loss to nationally-ranked St. John’s, the Bulldogs return to Hinkle tomorrow for a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Hoyas of Georgetown.
Butler sits a game ahead of Georgetown in the BIG EAST standings as both programs jockey for position in the final few weeks of league play.
Tip time tomorrow is set for 12 pm.
