🔼 New York State Of Mind. For the second straight weekend, the Butler women’s hoops team will hit the road for a BIG EAST battle.
This time, the ‘Dawgs are heading to the Big Apple for a Saturday afternoon tilt with St. John’s.
Tip time is set for 2 p.m.
🔼 The Slate Is Set. Not only are we just four weeks away from the return of Butler softball, but the ‘Dawgs lacrosse squad will also be returning to the field that day.
This week, the Butler women's lacrosse team has officially released its 2026 schedule. The Bulldogs will compete in 16 contests this season that include 10 non-conference games and six BIG EAST matchups.
Butler will begin the season with ten-straight non-conference games. The season opener will be Feb. 6 at Detroit Mercy. Additional non-conference road games are Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Gardner-Webb, Radford, and Wofford (neutral site).
🔼 On The Horizon. It may not feel like it this weekend, but spring is on the horizon.
Former Butler standout Ryan Pepiot is just over a month away from reporting for his fifth MLB season and third with the Tampa Bay Rays.
The right-hander is coming of a career year in 2025 when he piled up career-highs in wins (11), innings (167.2) and strikeouts (167).
