🔼 Runnin’ Wild. Butler football put on a quite a show for the Family Weekend crowd at the Sellick Bowl on Saturday.
The ‘Dawgs put up 262 rushing yards and 479 yards total in a dominant 41-10 home victory over San Diego in PFL action. Butler has now won four in a row heading into next weekend’s home matchup with Dayton.
Once again, Gabe Passini led the Bulldog offensive attack with 217 yards passing to go along with 56 yards rushing and three scores on the ground. His 217 passing yards came on 11 completions, including a 66-yard connection with Michael Nix and a 60-yard strike to Jonny Manor.
🔼 Coming Soon. A jam-packed Hinkle Fieldhouse took in their first look at the all new era of Butler men’s basketball as the ‘Dawgs hosted Indiana in exhibition action.
Butler had 13 players see action in the contest with Jalen Jackson leading the way in the scoring column with 17 points for the ‘Dawgs. Newcomer Jordan Ellerbee came off the bench to chip in 16 points, including three 3-pointer, three assists and three rebounds.

🔼 Among The Elite. Running in a field that featured 21 nationally-ranked teams, Butler’s William Zegarski turned in another impressive performance Friday morning at the Nuttycombe Invitational hosted by Wisconsin.
The graduate student placed 19th overall, completing the 8k Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in a time of 23:02.5.
The Bulldogs finished 18th in the team standings, coming in ahead of several ranked teams: No. 2 Iowa State, No. 13 Washington, No. 17 Washington State, No. 26 Georgia, No. 27 Michigan, and No. 29 Missouri.
🔼 Teaming Up. On Friday, Butler Athletics announced an exciting new partnership with Southern Indiana craft icon Quaff ON! Brewing Co. and brand strategy agency Droplight to introduce Butler Way Lager, the official custom-crafted beer of the Butler Bulldogs.
Crafted with the passion and "gusto" that defines Quaff ON!'s hand-crafted Indiana brews, Butler Way Lager is a crisp, approachable craft beer designed specifically for Bulldog fans to enjoy on game day and beyond.
The new custom lager made its official debut this past weekend during Butler's Family Weekend, where fans could purchase it across athletic venues, including iconic historic Hinkle Fieldhouse.
🖥️ COMING TO A SCREEN NEAR YOU
This week, Butler unveiled the game times and national exposure for the upcoming 2026-27 basketball campaigns.
The upcoming season marks the second of a six-year BIG EAST media agreement, which will span through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS and truTV).
