🔼 Flyin’ High. Now that’s how you respond.

The Butler football program bounced back after a tough home loss against nationally-ranked Presbyterian with a thrilling, hard-fought 23-17 win over Dayton on Saturday, dealing the Flyers their first PFL loss of the 2025 campaign.

QB Reagan Andrew connected with receivers for both of Butler's touchdowns, racking up 256 yards passing and another 78 on the ground.

🔼 Opening Act. The curtains were opened and the Butler faithful got a sneak peek of what’s to come in the upcoming 2025-26 season when the ‘Dawgs welcomed the Fightin’ Irish of Notre Dame to Hinkle for a thrilling 77-76 showdown, won by ND, on Friday night.

With both teams using a full rotation of players, Finley Bizjack led Butler with 16 points, connecting on four 3-pointers, while Efeosa Oliogu-Elabor and Jamie Kaiser Jr. each poured in 12 points for the ‘Dawgs.

🔼 Weekend Work. Despite changing venues and facing delays due to weather, the Butler women’s soccer program wouldn’t be denied, powering their way past Seton Hall, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon.

The unfavorable conditions forced the match to relocate from Butler's campus to the indoor facility at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.

Gemma Gillespie and Chloe Brecht each found the back of the net to lead the offensive attack that fired off 24 shots on the day.

🔼 Running Wild. The 12th-ranked Butler Bulldogs finished eighth in a field that included 18 nationally ranked teams at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisc.

The eighth-place finish put the Bulldogs ahead of 10 nationally-ranked teams, including No. 1 Iowa State, No. 7 Wisconsin, and No. 9 Notre Dame.

Leading the way for the Dawgs in the Championship 8k race was William Zegarski, who finished 14th with a time of 23:36.1. Matthew Forrester finished closely behind in 27th place with a time of 23:44.0.

🔼 WIN-dy City. A career night from Maria Nix (12 kills) helped the balanced Butler volleyball team to a gutty 3-1 win at DePaul on Friday night.

Alaleh Tolliver continued her strong season, leading the attack with 13 kills, while also recording 10 digs for a double-double.
