🔼 One Final Tune-Up. With only 10 days remaining until tip-off, Butler men’s basketball will wrap up its exhibition slate with a trip to Ohio State for a Sunday afternoon showdown on B1G+.
The ‘Dawgs enter their final preseason tune-up looking to build on an 81-74 victory over Indiana State last weekend, a performance highlighted by Jalen Jackson's 19 points, Jordan Ellerbee's 14 and Drayton Jones' 12 points and nine rebounds.
Tip-off in Columbus is set for 2 p.m. ET.
🔼 First Look. The Maria Marchesano era is now just 10 days away as the Butler women’s hoops squad continues its preparation for the upcoming 2026-27 season over the weekend.
Tomorrow, fans can get their first look at this year’s squad when the ‘Dawgs square off with Ball State in an open scrimmage at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Tipoff is set for 12 p.m.
🔼 Back To Work. Butler football is back on the road this weekend as the ‘Dawgs hit the road for a pivotal Pioneer Football League matchup against Drake tomorrow afternoon.
Butler continues to boast one of the nation's most impressive defensive units, ranking second in the FCS in rushing defense at just 91.3 yards allowed per game, while leading the country with a +12 turnover margin. Offensively, the Bulldogs average 33.3 points and 205.1 rushing yards per contest.
Kickoff on ESPN+ is set for 1 p.m. ET from Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
🔼 Two-For-One Special. For the second time this fall, Butler swept the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week honors as Logan Sutto and Addi Kooi claimed the recognitions following medalist performances.
The same Butler duo also earned BIG EAST Golfer of the Week honors Oct. 2 with Sutto also receiving accolades Oct. 15 earlier this fall. Freshmen Rachel Johnson (Oct. 8) and Nicholas Brooks (Sept. 17) have also been highlighted with BIG EAST weekly awards previously this fall.
This is the fifth BIG EAST weekly honor for Sutto (also Oct. 15, 2026; Oct. 2, 2026; April 7, 2026; and Oct. 1, 2025) and the third for Kooi (Oct. 2, 2026 and Oct. 1, 2025)
