📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Tabbing Tabor. After carding one of the best rounds in program history, Derek Tabor earned BIG EAST Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week accolades.
Tabor tied for second at the 2025 Dayton Flyer Invitational, which concluded Tuesday. He shot a six-under 207 over the 54 holes. He carded rounds of 65, 68 and 74 on the 7,004-yard NCR Country Club South Course in Kettering, Ohio. The opening-round, six-under 65 tied the third-best round in program history relative to par.

🔼 Crunch Time. With the postseason tournaments just a few weeks away, the Butler fall sports squads have a crucial home weekend on tap with BIG EAST matchups filling up the slate.
Both soccer squads are currently in position to reach the BIG EAST tournament, while the volleyball team is just two games back with eight games remaining, including two this weekend at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
🔼 Running Man. When you find yourself among the nation’s elite, you’re going to earn some accolades.
That was the case for Butler cross country standout William Zegarski, who was named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week earlier this week.
Last weekend at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, Zegarski placed 14th in the 8K Championship Race with a time of 23:36.1.
He was the first to cross the finish line for the No. 14 Bulldogs, leading them to an eighth-place team finish. The Dawgs placed ahead of 10 nationally ranked teams, including No. 1 Iowa State, No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 9 Notre Dame.
🔼 Plus One. With just two games remaining in the regular season, the Butler women’s soccer squad is fighting and clawing for every point in the league standings.
The ‘Dawgs added one to their point column on Wednesday night, earning a 1-1 draw at St. John’s to sit tied for fifth in the league standings. The top six teams earn a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament in early November.
Up next for Butler? A Saturday evening date with Creighton, who sits just one point back of the Bulldogs.
🤔 BUTLER TRIVIA
