This weekend, fans got their first look at this year’s squad when the ‘Dawgs battled Ball State in scrimmage action at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
On Wednesday night, Butler welcome Franklin to Hinkle Fieldhouse for its final tune-up before next week’s season opener.
🔼 The May To Victory. The Butler women's soccer team knocked off one of the nation's three undefeated teams on Saturday night, shutting out Villanova 1-0 in the Sellick Bowl for a huge BIG EAST conference win.
After a scoreless first half, freshman Elise May opened the scoring for the Bulldogs with an unassisted goal in the 70th minute off a goalkeeper's deflection. The one-goal lead held through full time as the Butler defense rose to the occasion.
With only three regular season matches remaining, Butler is tied for the fourth and final spot in next month’s conference tournament.
