🔼 How Sweep It Is. The Butler volleyball program started the second half of the BIG EAST schedule in a big way, rolling to wins over Seton Hall and St. John’s at Hinkle Fieldhouse this weekend.
On Friday, the ‘Dawgs dominated Seton Hall, 3-0, to earn Coach Shondell his 100th collegiate coaching victory. Butler followed it up with a reverse sweep of St. John’s, battling back to earn the 3-2 win and grab their third victory in the past four matches.
Alaleh Tolliver was the star of the weekend, racking up 30 kills in the two wins, including a 21-kill performance in the win over St. John’s. Lauren Evans had a monster weekend defensively with 37 digs, including a career-high 26 against the Red Storm.
🔼 Coming Soon. One week from today will be officially GAME DAY for Butler women’s basketball.
But first, the ‘Dawgs will lace ‘em up and welcome Taylor to Hinkle tomorrow night for an exhibition showing.
Tip-time is set for 7 p.m.

🔼 Down To One. The Butler women’s soccer team will head into its final match of the regular season with one thing on their mind: punch their ticket.
Saturday night, the Bulldogs earned a point in the BIG EAST standings by drawing with Creighton, 1-1. Butler sits at 10 points this fall, just one point out of the final spot in the BIG EAST Tournament.
That sets up a high stakes season finale at Villanova next Saturday. A win over the ‘Cats would punch their ticket. A draw would require help from other teams.
🔼 Back To Work. After a weekend off, the Butler football squad is back to work this week, ready to welcome first-place Drake to town for a big time PFL showdown.
Butler is looking to avenge a tough 27-17 loss at Drake last year as the two teams vie for spots near the top of the league standings.
Kickoff at the Sellick Bowl on Saturday is set for 1 pm.
🤔 BUTLER TRIVIA

With 30 kills over the weekend, super sophomore Alaleh Tolliver now sits a single-season career high of 316 kills for the season.
Where does that rank among underclassmen nationally?
