🔼 Carolina On My Mind. Two of the most successful men’s basketball programs over the past two decades will square off in a highly anticipated home-and-home series beginning next season.

This week, Butler and North Carolina announced the series between the two schools.

The teams will play in Chapel Hill in either November or December of 2026 before the Bulldogs host the Tar Heels at Hinkle Fieldhouse in either November or December of 2027.

Butler and UNC have played six previous times with the Tar Heels last visiting Hinkle Fieldhouse in 1992.

Addi Kooi and Ashley Freitas of Butler were named BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week, while Butler's Logan Sutto shared BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors with Jace Hulett of Seton Hall.

It marks the first BIG EAST weekly honor for each of the Bulldogs.

🔼 Lock ‘Em In. We had the dates, now we’ve got the times.

Once again, all of Butler’s games will be available to a national audience.

The upcoming season marks the first of a six-year media agreement, which will span from 2025-26 through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), TNT Sports (TNT,  truTV), and ESPN (ESPN+).

🔼 On The Road Again. Eight different Butler programs are in action this weekend with all eight on the road.

Men’s soccer (at DePaul) and volleyball (at Villanova) getting things started today. Women’s tennis is also in action today and all weekend long at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington.

Football looks for its second straight conference win when it travels to St. Thomas, while the swim squad stays local to compete at the IU Indy Dual alongside Bellarmine, Bowling Green, Saint Louis and Xavier.

Women’s soccer takes on its second straight nationally-ranked opponent on Saturday with #24 Xavier, while the volleyball team rounds out its East Coast trip with a battle with Georgetown.

As part of Butler University's Family Weekend, the Butler hoops programs are hosting an open practice on Saturday, October 11th. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a scheduled conclusion at approximately 12:15 p.m. Both teams will be on display, featuring blue-white scrimmages as a portion of each practice. Fans will also have the opportunity to interact with student-athletes from both teams after the open practice for autographs and photos.

The event is free and open to the public but fans are encouraged to download a ticket to the open practice through the Butler Sports App. Those fans will be eligible for drawings throughout the event for Butler prizes such as tickets and apparel.
