📈 STOCK UP

🔼 All Tuned Up. With the season opener just three days away, fans got their first chance to check out a new era of Butler women’s hoops as the ‘Dawgs lit up the scoreboard in a 114-26 exhibition victory over Franklin College on Wednesday night in Hinkle Fieldhouse.

All 13 Bulldogs scored in the contest as Nevaeh Jackson led the way with 17 points. Taya Ellis (11 points, 11 rebounds) and Laniah Wills (11 points, 10 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles in the contest.

Butler will begin the regular season on Monday as Tennessee Tech visits Hinkle Fieldhouse. Tip is scheduled for 11 a.m. as Butler hosts its annual Kids Day Game.

🔼 In The Hunt. With only two games remaining, the Butler women’s soccer team stayed in the hunt for the postseason this week with a hard-fought 0-0 draw on the road at UConn.

Addison Ash record four saves in the contest for a second straight clean sheet and the seventh of the season for the sophomore goalkeeper.

Entering the final weekend of conference play, Butler and Seton Hall are tied in fifth place with 10 points, just one point back of Creighton, who currently holds the fourth and final spot in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament. Providence and Georgetown are tied for sixth with nine points.

Butler heads to Providence tomorrow for a critical league showdown.

🔼 Southern Swing. Looking to stay in the mix at the top of the PFL standings, Butler football hits the road for a Saturday afternoon showdown at Presbyterian.

The Bulldogs enter the contest looking to build on last weekend's impressive 33-21 victory over Drake, which snapped a 10-game losing streak against their longtime conference rival.

Led by quarterback Gabe Passini and a balanced rushing attack, Butler has established itself as one of the PFL's top contenders this season.

Kickoff on ESPN+ is set for 1 p.m.

🔼 Almost Showtime. We are just over 72 hours away from a new era of Butler men’s basketball.

The ‘Dawgs are set to tip-off the 2026-27 season when Lafayette rolls into historic Hinkle Fieldhouse.

The opener marks the beginning of a new era under head coach Ronald Nored, a Butler legend who returns to his alma mater after more than a decade coaching in the NBA.

Tip-off on ESPN+ is set for 7 p.m.

🔼 Lacing ‘Em Up. This morning, Butler's men's and women's cross country teams head to Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va. for the 2026 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships.

The No. 26-ranked Butler men enter the meet as defending BIG EAST champions after capturing their fourth conference title in six seasons last fall. Leading the charge is reigning individual champion William Zegarski, who has earned multiple BIG EAST Athlete of the Week honors this season.

On the women's side, Butler will be led by junior Hannah Moore, who earned BIG EAST Athlete of the Week honors earlier this month after clocking a 17:09.9 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. Ranked No. 12 in the Great Lakes Region, the Butler women will look to build momentum heading into the NCAA postseason.

Both championship races will be streamed on ESPN+.
