🔼 Next Stop - The Real Thing. In its final tune-up before next week’s season opener, the Butler men’s hoops squad thrilled the home crowd with a highly entertaining 105-80 win over Indiana State on Wednesday night.
Leading the way was Finley Bizjack with 24 points, including four 3-pointers. He was one of six Bulldogs in double-figures.
Evan Haywood scored 14 points, while Drayton Jones (12), Michael Ajayi (11), Jackson Keith (10), and Yame Butler (10) all joined Bizjack in double figures.
Defensively, the Bulldogs forced the Sycamores into 20 turnovers in the contest.
🔼 Trophy Hunting. In one of the most competitive conference championships in the country, the Butler cross country programs will toe the line looking to bring home some hardware later today.
The ‘Dawgs will lace ‘em up at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships today in Ashland, Neb.
At 12 pm EST, the 14th-ranked Butler men will look to reclaim the conference title for the fourth time in the past six seasons. The women will follow at 12:50 pm EST looking for their first conference championship since 2019.
🔼 Battle At The Bowl. After a weekend off, the Butler football squad is back to work this week, ready to welcome first-place Drake to town for a big time PFL showdown.
Butler is looking to avenge a tough 27-17 loss at Drake last year as the two teams vie for spots near the top of the league standings.
Kickoff at the Sellick Bowl on Saturday is set for 1 pm.
🔼 Crunch Time. With just six regular season matches remaining, the Butler volleyball program has officially entered crunch time.
Heading down the stretch, the Bulldogs find themselves just two games back of the fourth and final spot in the postseason.
Four of the final six matches are at home for Butler, who plays host to Georgetown (tonight at 7) and Villanova (Saturday at 7). Both of whom sit just ahead of the ‘Dawgs in the conference standings.
