🔼 King Of The Mountain. Playing in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, the Butler men’s hoops squad proved to be “King Of The Mountains” at the 2025 Greenbrier Tip-Off at America’s Resort In White Sulphur Springs, W, Va.

Led by the dynamic duo of Finley Bizjack and Michael Ajayi, the ‘Dawgs rolled to victories over South Carolina (79-72 on Friday) and Virginia (80-73 on Sunday).

Bizjack averaged 21.5 points in the two victories, while Ajayi continued his double-double streak, which now sits at six after averaging 16.0 ppg and 14.0 rpg.

🔼 Balancing Act. The balance of the Butler women’s hoops squad was once again on display on Sunday as the ‘Dawgs put together a decisive 67-53 home victory over visiting Milwaukee.

Lily Zeinstra led four Butler standouts in double-figures with 13 points. She also added two rebounds and three assists.

Saniya Jackson (12), Addison Baxter (12) and Caroline Dotsey (10) rounded out the Bulldogs in double figures.

🔼 Our Helmet. The Hoosier Helmet is staying with the ‘Dawgs yet again.

In the season finale for both programs, Butler defeated Valparaiso, 27-20, on Saturday afternoon to keep the Hoosier Helmet in Indianapolis for a fourth consecutive season.

On a day where the ‘Dawgs recognized and honored the senior class, it was the defense that set the tone early and often, limiting Valpo to just seven points through the first three quarters of the game.

As a team, Butler racked up four sacks on the day, led by Will Mason who had a team-high 11 tackles and one sack in the victory.

🔼 Finishing Strong. A historic season came to a close for the Butler men’s cross country squad as the ‘Dawgs finished 16th at the NCAA Championships this past weekend.

William Zegarski and Austin Gabay led the way with top-100 finishes. Zegarski placed 66th, covering the championship course in 29:22.0. Gabay followed in 83rd with a time of 29:30.3.

🤔 BUTLER TRIVIA

With the two wins in West Virginia this weekend, the Butler men’s hoops squad extended its rebounding edge to six straight games as the ‘Dawgs have outrebounded each of their opponents so far in 2025-26.
