🔼 Never Say Die. If Saturday was a preview of what’s to come in BIG EAST play, we promise you, you’re not going to want to miss any games this year.

Butler worked overtime (twice) for a 113-110 win over Providence in front of a jam-packed Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Michael Ajayi led the Bulldogs with 28 points and 15 rebounds, while 12 of Finley Bizjack's 26 points came in the two overtime sessions.

The win is the fifth in the past six games for the Bulldogs, who improve to 8-2 on the season.

🔼 Balancing Act. Seven different players scored 8+ points as the Butler women’s hoops won for the second straight game, pulling away to defeat Eastern Illinois, 74-52, on Sunday at Hinkle.

Anna Wypych led the Dawgs with 12 points, while also grabbing four rebounds in the win.

Ten different Bulldogs scored in the contest as Mallory Miller and Gabby Wilke followed closely behind Wypych with nine points each to their credit. Miller also chipped in a career-high in assists with six.

🔼 See Ya Next Year! A small group of Butler track & field athletes made the short drive to Bloomington on Friday to close out the 2025 portion of the schedule.

Joseph Pierro won the 200 meters in a time of 21.73.

Other podium finishes for the Bulldogs included Ryan Elston (1:19.78) and Aedan Rendek (1:21.12) going 2-4 in the 600 meters while Owen Whitney's time of 4:12.53 was good for third in the mile.
