🔼 Miller Time. Leading the Butler women’s hoops team to a 2-0 week, Mallory Miller earned a spot on this week’s BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
For the week, Miller averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game for the Bulldogs, including a career-high 16 points against Indiana State.
Miller and the Dawgs return to action on Friday, Dec. 19 as BU hosts Xavier in its first conference home game of the season. Tip-off at Hinkle Fieldhouse is slated for 7 p.m.
🔼 Be Like Mike. Twice in less than two months? Not a bad start to the year for Michael Ajayi.
On Monday, the Butler men’s hoops standout earned his second BIG EAST Player of the Week honor of the 2025-26 season.
Ajayi led the Bulldogs with 28 points and 15 rebounds as Butler opened the BIG EAST portion of the schedule with a 113-110 double-overtime win over Providence Saturday. He added two assists, two steals and one block.
He now has eight double-doubles in the team's 10 games. He ranks second nationally at 11.9 rebounds per game.
