🏀 MORE THAN A GAME

Tonight, the Dawgs host the #5 UConn Huskies at 7:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 6 p.m. for fans! Pregame will offer drink specials, a chance to see the NCAA Championship trophy and more!

This game is our Project 44 Night, honoring the late Andrew Smith, who proudly wore #44 for the Bulldogs from 2009-2013 and was the recipient of a bone marrow transplant during his battle with cancer. Project 44 is focused on the education, awareness and advocacy for the national bone marrow registry.

Halftime will recognize the more than 300 Butler student-athletes who earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, with a semester GPA of at least a 3.25!

Fans can purchase two tickets to the game for just $44 AND receive a complimentary ticket to the women's Project 44 game on Wednesday, February 18 vs Creighton at 7 p.m.!

🔼 Finishing Strong. Playing in its first tournament of the spring, the Butler men’s golf team finished on a mission, firing a final round 11-under par to shoot up the leaderboard and finish second at the Lake Jovita Invitational in Dade City, Fla.

Sophomore Logan Sutto carded a final round 5-under to finish 11th overall, while senior Derek Tabor also claimed a top-15 finish at 4-under.

🔼 Roll Call. It was a strong start to the 2026 season for junior Makena Alexander of the Butler softball squad.

Alexander had a hit in all five of the ‘Dawgs games at UNI this past weekend, finishing 8-for-16 with two home runs and two doubles.

🔼 And Another. Alexander wasn’t the only ‘Dawg garnering recognition after their weekend performance.

Butler women’s lacrosse standout Elise Latham’s career day led her to also earn a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

The Indianapolis native scored a career-high six goals against Detroit Mercy, then added three more versus Eastern Michigan for nine on the week.
