🔼 Senior Salutin’. Now that’s how you put on a show!

On a day that the Butler men’s hoops program honored a trio of seniors, two of them went out with a bang. Michael Ajayi (24 points, nine rebounds) and Yohan Traore (21 points) combined for 45 points to lead the ‘Dawgs to a 80-75 victory over Xavier on Saturday afternoon at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Finley Bizjack was the third Butler player in double-figures with 18 points in the contest.

🔼 Balancing Act. It was a total team effort for the Butler women’s hoops squad, who traveled to the nation’s capital and picked up a 66-58 road win over Georgetown on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman sensation Anna Wypych led the way with 13 points with Kennedy Langham (11), Lily Zeinstra (10) and Caroline Dotsey (10) all finishing in double-figures.

Butler’s defense forced Georgetown in 14 turnovers and limited the Hoyas to 1-of-16 from beyond the arc.

🔼 Rammin’ It Home. Playing at home for just the third time this month, the Butler men’s tennis squad enjoyed the friendly confines, rolling past Fordham, 5-2.

The ‘Dawgs quickly rolled to the doubles point to grab early momentum, and secured the win with victories in four of the six singles matchups.

🔼 Raising The Bar. The bar has been raised for the Butler swim team.

Saturday night, the ‘Dawgs concluded competition at the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, securing a fifth-place, the best finish in program history.

Butler edged out Seton Hall (559 points) to secure fifth and the Dawgs’ score of 581.5 is the second highest point total in school history at the BIG EAST Championships. Butler's 400 Free Relay team set a new school record in the event with a time of 3:26.19.

🔼 Record Setter. Senior Hailey Conger of the Butler softball squad etched her name in the record books this weekend.

In the ‘Dawgs 14-4 victory over Detroit Mercy on Saturday, the Gurnee, Ill., native went 2-for-4 with six RBIs and three runs scored. The six RBIs tied a single-game school record and is just the third ‘Dawg in program history to accomplish the feat.

🤔 BUTLER TRIVIA

After knocking down 25 free throws in Saturday’s win over Xavier, the Bulldogs continued their success at the charity stripe.

Butler currently ranks in the top-25 nationally and second in the BIG EAST in FTs made per game. How many are the ‘Dawgs knocking down per outing?
