🔼 He Is A Real All-American. Nothing like going out on top, right?

In his final race as a Butler Bulldog, Jesse Hamlin did exactly that, achieving program history at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday night.

The Fort Wayne, Ind., native finished fifth in the men’s 3,000 meters to not only earn him First-Team All-American accolades, but also tied the highest individual finish in Butler’s Division I history. At the 1970 NCAA Indoor Championships (which included all divisions), Butler's Gerald Wolfolk placed fifth in the long jump.

Hamlin earns Indoor All-American honors for the second time, bettering his finishing spot of seventh at the 2023 championships.

🔼 Grand Opening. Now that’s how you get things started!

The Butler softball team swept through its opening series of BIG EAST action this past weekend, rolling to three straight wins at Villanova, including a thrilling extra-inning victory to seal the sweep.

With the three wins, the ‘Dawgs have now won four straight as they head back home to host Seton Hall this upcoming weekend.

🔼 Yard Work. In his first season at Butler, Matthew Rhoades is making quite an impact.

With two more HRs in a road series at Wichita State, Rhoades set a program record with a streak of five straight games with a blast.

On the season, the Monument, Colo., native has gone yard 12 times, which currently sits third in the country.
