🔼 Beware Of The Dogs. As the calendar officially turns to spring, the weather isn’t the only thing warming up. These Bulldogs are en fuego.

The Butler softball team picked up its second straight BIG EAST series sweep, rolling past Seton Hall with wins of 3-0, 8-5 and 11-3 over the Pirates.

Through the first two weeks of BIG EAST play, the Bulldogs are the only undefeated team in conference games.

🔼 Winning Weekend. Watch out folks, these ‘Dawgs are rolling.

The Butler men’s tennis team continued its strong play, picking up back-to-back wins over the weekend, taking down Bellarmine (4-3) and Southern Indiana (6-1).

With the two victories, the ‘Dawgs have now won three of their past four with BIG EAST play just two weeks away.

🔼 Grand Opening. It’s already been quite a debut season for freshman Anna Niebrugge of the Butler track & field squad.

The Arlington Heights, Ill., native added another chapter to that book in the outdoor season debut on Friday, breaking yet another school record at the Blizzard Buster in Oxford, Ohio.

Niebrugge broke the school record in the 100-meter sprint with a time of 11.65, earning first-place and beating out the time of 11.88 previously held by Carson Fields.
