🔼 Happy At Home. With the final week of the regular season arriving, the Butler men’s hoops team is looking to jockey for position in next week’s BIG EAST Tournament as they hit the court at Hinkle for one final home game tonight.

The ‘Dawgs will be celebrating Fan Appreciation Night as they welcome Creighton to town for a 6 pm showdown on FS1.

🔼 Tourney Time. This past weekend, the Butler women’s hoops team wrapped up its regular season. Now, it’s Tourney Time.

This week, the ‘Dawgs head east to the Mohegan Sun Arena to take on the BIG EAST Tournament gauntlet.

Butler will take on eighth-seeded Georgetown in Friday’s first round. Tip time is set for 11 a.m. on Peacock.

🔼 Dynamic Duo. Before heading to the BIG EAST Tournament, the Butler women’s hoops team collected two more weekly accolades.

Anna Wypych was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, and Saniya Jackson earned a spot on this week’s BIG EAST Honor Roll.

Wypych was sensational last week for BU, averaging 14.5 points, two rebounds and two assists across two games. The freshman shot 42.9-percent from the floor and sank four 3-pointers.

Jackson averaged a double-double last week with 12 points per game and 11 rebounds per game.

🔼 Slingin’ It. Just a few weeks into his Butler career, Carmel, Ind., native Max Winders is making quite an impression with the ‘Dawgs baseball squad.

After picking up the win over Marshall with five strong innings of relief, including eight strikeouts, Winders earned a spot on this week’s BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

On the year, Winders has 17 innings of work, racking up 22 strike outs, walking none and posting a 2.65 ERA.
