🔼 And Here We Go. All the early morning workouts. All the late night film sessions. All the blood, sweat and tears were for moments like this.

This morning, the Butler women’s hoops squad opens play in the first round of the 2026 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The ‘Dawgs will take on eighth-seeded Georgetown with tip time set for 11 a.m. on Peacock.

🔼 Ticket Punched. One ticket to Fayetteville, please.

This week, Butler track & field standout Jesse Hamlin punched his ticket to the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships at the University of Arkansas next weekend, March 13-14.

Hamlin earned one of 16 spots in the 3000m at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 7:39.70 earlier this season. Hamlin's time from the Boston University Hemery Valentine Invitational in February broke his own school record in the event.

Hamlin's 3,000-meter race is scheduled for 7:25 p.m. (Eastern) on Saturday, March 14. Live coverage will be available on ESPN+ and the championships will re-air on Sunday, March 15 at 7 p.m. (Eastern) on ESPNU.

🔼 Making The List. It may not be the holiday season, but Butler baseball’s Logan Crock made a different type of list this week.

On Wednesday, Crock was named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watchlist on Wednesday morning. The award honors the nation's top shortstop and will be presented by the College Baseball Foundation later this year.

The top 100 shortstops in the country made the list which featured Butler shortstop Crock. The sophomore has had a solid start to 2026 slashing .263/.395/.759 in 11 games for the Dawgs. Crock has 10 hits, two doubles, one homer and eight RBIs to his credit on the young season.
