🔼 Philly Special. Cheesesteaks weren’t the only things being served up this weekend in Philadelphia.

The Butler Baseball squad continued its torrid play with a series sweep of Villanova to open BIG EAST play with wins of 8-6, 7-5 and 10-1.

With the three wins, the ‘Dawgs have now won six of their past seven as they return home for a midweek battle with Southern Indiana tomorrow afternoon.

🔼 Senior Salutin’. No better way to honor the seniors than with a weekend sweep, right?

The Butler men’s tennis squad picked up a pair of BIG EAST wins beginning with a 4-0 road sweep of Marquette, followed by a 5-2 defeat of Creighton at home on Sunday.

Winners of four of their past six, the ‘Dawgs travel to Xavier for their final regular season match on Saturday afternoon.

🔼 Hoppin’ Along. It was only fitting that on a weekend that the Easter Bunny visited, it was the jumping events that set the tone for the Butler track & field program.

The ‘Dawgs earned four top-10 finishes in jumping events to highlight the weekend at the Pacesetter Invitational in Terre Haute on Saturday.

Leading the way was Cabott Craft, who continued his success in the men's long jump event placing second with a jump of 7.17 meters. Edward Mumford earned eighth in the long jump event with a length of 6.24 meters.
