🔼 Class Acts. The field, court, track and course weren’t the only places the Bulldogs saw success this spring.

Butler student-athletes combined for a 3.578 GPA during the 2026 spring semester. The achievement marks the 15th consecutive semester that Butler student-athletes combined for a 3.3 GPA or higher and betters the Bulldogs' fall semester GPA of 3.526. The spring semester GPA is the highest for Bulldogs since 2020.

105 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, while Butler also had 365 student-athletes make the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, which requires a GPA of at least 3.25.

🔼 First Peek. The Bulldogs will open the Ronald Nored Era Saturday, Oct. 10, hosting Indiana State in an exhibition tip at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

With a Butler football game slated for that afternoon at the Sellick Bowl, an early evening tip time is expected for the basketball exhibition. Both games are part of Butler's Family Weekend on the Indianapolis campus.

🔼 Solid As A Brock. What a way to wrap up a career.

This week, senior right-hander Brock Buckley was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

The Carmel, Ind. native was superb for the ‘Dawgs in 17 appearances this season boasting a 4.63 ERA. Buckley tossed a team-high 79.2 innings and led the team in strikeouts with 75 to his credit.

He earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll three times (3/30, 4/6, 5/4) and threw a complete game against Milwaukee, going seven innings and allowing eight hits and two runs while striking out eight.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Butler Golf Classic presented by NFP. This university-wide event on Thursday, Sept. 17 brings the Butler community together for an incredible day on the links, with all proceeds directly benefiting Butler Athletics.

For the second consecutive year, Old Oakland Golf Club will serve as the backdrop for the event.
