๐Ÿ”ผ Tickets Punched. The Butler track and field team had four Bulldog men qualify for this season's 10,000 meters at the NCAA Outdoor East First Round.

The four-day event begins Wednesday and will be hosted by the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.

The top 48 declared student-athletes were accepted into the first round competitions for each individual event. The top 12 finishers in the 10,000 meters from the NCAA East First Round will join the 12 top finishers from the NCAA West First Round to make up the 24 athletes to compete for the NCAA 10K title in Eugene, Ore., at next month's NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

๐Ÿ”ผ We Got A Winner. One thing is for certain, Butler menโ€™s hoops got themselves a winner in Samu Adler, an incoming Bulldog for the 2026-27 roster.

This week, Adler earned Finals MVP honors, leading his Salon Vilpas team to the Korisliiga title. In his team's Game 7 win over Kataja Basket, Adler posted 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Adler averaged 19.7 points per game in the 2026 Finals and 17.8 points per game during the 2026 playoffs. He scored 20 or more points seven times during the playoffs. The 6-6 guard has played in the Korisliiga, the top league in Finland, for the past two seasons with Salon Vilpas.

๐Ÿ”ผ Dawgs At The Diamond. Mark your calendar for Friday, June 12 to join the Bulldogs for Butler Night at Victory Field! The Indianapolis Indians play the Columbus Clippers at 7:05 p.m., followed by postgame fireworks!

Head coaches Ronald Nored and Maria Marchesano will throw out the ceremonial first pitches to kick-off the evening!

๐Ÿ”ผ And Another One. Head Coach Maria Marchesano and her staff continue to build for next season.

This week, Judit Valero, a 5-11 guard from Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain, who averaged 9.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game at FIU last season, signed with Butler. Valero spent two seasons at FIU after spending her first season as USF.

Valero played in 30 games last season, making 27 starts and averaging 28.9 minutes per game. She shot 38.8 percent from the field and sank 31.4 percent of her shots from behind the arc. Valero was solid at the charity stripe posting a 70.8 percent free throw percentage last season.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Butler Golf Classic presented by NFP. This university-wide event on Thursday, Sept. 17 brings the Butler community together for an incredible day on the links, with all proceeds directly benefiting Butler Athletics.

For the second consecutive year, Old Oakland Golf Club will serve as the backdrop for the event.
