On Tuesday, Butler men’s hoops announced a non-conference, regular season matchup with Nebraska in Chicago for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

The teams will meet Sunday, Nov. 22 at Credit Union 1 Arena in the Windy City.
 
Tickets will go on sale soon. The television assignment and tip time will be announced at a later date. The event is organized by Complete Sports Management.  
 
The match-up with Nebraska is the sixth regular season contest that has been announced on Butler's schedule thus far. Additional games on Butler's non-conference schedule will be released soon.

🔼 It’s Showtime. Tonight’s the night.

This evening, Butler track standout William Zegarski will be stepping onto the track looking to put the finishing touches on an already historic season. 

Zegarski is one of 24 runners who will be vying for the top spot in the 10000m at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

The race is set to get underway at 10:56 p.m. ET.

🔼 Movin’ On Up. Former Butler standout Jack Moroknek is on the move!

The 2025 11th-round draft pick by the Washington Nationals was promoted this week to High-A Wilmington and started off in a big way with a 2-for-2 outing on Tuesday night. He scored a run and drove in a run, along with drawing two walks in his debut with the Blue Rocks.

Join the Bulldogs this Friday, June 12 for Butler Night at Victory Field! The Indianapolis Indians play the Columbus Clippers at 7:05 p.m., followed by postgame fireworks!

Head coaches Ronald Nored and Maria Marchesano will throw out the ceremonial first pitches to kick-off the evening!

🏈 COUNTIN’ THE DAYS: 80 DAYS

Last fall, the Butler defensive unit racked up 80 tackles for a loss, led by three ‘Dawgs with 10 TFLs each in Mason Armstrong, Jeremiah Jackson and Tyson Garrett.

Butler racked up double-digit TFLs in two games last year with 14 against Hanover (Sept. 13) and 13 against Drake (Nov. 1).
