⚾️ TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT

Join the Bulldogs TONIGHT for Butler Night at Victory Field! The Indianapolis Indians play the Columbus Clippers at 7:05 p.m., followed by postgame fireworks!

Head coaches Ronald Nored and Maria Marchesano will throw out the ceremonial first pitches to kick-off the evening!

🔼 Carolina On My Mind. The marquee matchups continue to build for the Butler men’s hoops squad.

This week, another premier opponent was locked in for the 2026-27 schedule with the Bulldogs set to travel to North Carolina for a Sunday, Dec. 6 contest.

The game tips off a home-and-home series that was previously announced. Butler will then host a return game against the Tar Heels at Hinkle Fieldhouse during the 2027-28 campaign.
 
The tip time and television assignment for the match-up at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Big Willy Style. Now that’s how you cap off a collegiate career.

William Zegarski ran a personal-best in the 10,000-meter event to earn 10th-place at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore on Wednesday night, earning him second-team All-America accolades.

It is the third All-America honor of Zegarski’s illustrious career with the ‘Dawgs.

🔼 Opening Act. The Maria Marchesano Era officially has a start date.

This week, the Butler women’s hoops team announced its season opener for Monday, Nov. 2 against Tennessee Tech at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The contest will also be the ‘Dawgs annual Kids Day Game.
 
The 11 a.m. tip will include an estimated several thousand elementary school students in attendance through a partnership with the NCAA and its Readers Become Leaders Program.

For only $45, the Junior Dawg Pound provides kids sixth grade and younger with admission to all Butler home volleyball, men's and women's soccer, AND women's basketball games. Membership also includes a Junior Dawg Pound t-shirt, a swag bag, and much more.  

Another option for the 2026-27 season is to upgrade to a Junior Dawg Pound MVP membership, which includes all of the benefits of a Junior Dawg Pound membership AS WELL AS admission to all Butler home football games. MVP memberships are only $75.

This year’s matchup between Butler and UNC marks the seventh all-time meeting for the two programs with the two splitting the previous six games.
