🏈 COUNTIN’ THE DAYS: 6️⃣8️⃣ DAYS
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Butler Football this fall. The Bulldogs will
host Georgetown College on August 29 at 1 p.m.

Appearing in 17 games over the past two seasons, including all 12 last year, redshirt junior offensive lineman Nik Belski, who dons #6️⃣8️⃣ for the Bulldogs, is back and ready to battle for a starting spot this fall.
A versatile lineman, Belski has seen time at three different positions for Butler, including center and both guards.
The 6-3, 290-pound force was an All-State honoree coming out of La Salle, Ill.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Yard Work. Former Butler standout Jack Moroknek did some yard work this past weekend for the High-A Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Washington Nationals organization.
After being promoted to Wilmington earlier this year, Moroknek hit his first HR for the Blue Rocks in Friday’s 10-4 victory for the home team.
For the spring season, Moroknek is hitting .294 with seven HRs and 28 RBIs combined between his two stops.
🔼 Academic Aces. In the circle wasn’t the only place the Butler softball team stores it’s aces.
Late last week, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, along with sponsor Easton, recognized 18 Butler softball student-athletes for their academic success.
Athletes who achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale are recognized as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. The NFCA also recognizes the top 10 academic teams (by overall GPA) each fall through the Easton/NFCA Top 10 Academic Team program.
