🏈 COUNTIN’ THE DAYS: 6️⃣6️⃣ DAYS
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Butler Football this fall. The Bulldogs will
host Georgetown College on August 29 at 1 p.m.
In one of the most historic performances in Butler history, the Bulldogs piled up 6️⃣6️⃣ first half points en route to a historic 122-0 victory over Hanover back in 1921.
In the game, Butler scored 17 touchdowns and added a field goal in a game that the Bulldogs set a record for most points in a game that still remains to this day.

🔼 Addin’ A Pair. The Butler women's basketball team and first-year head coach Maria Marchesano have announced two more home games on the non-conference schedule.
After five home contests in the month of November, BU will welcome Indiana State (Dec. 13) and Wright State (Dec. 19) to Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs will face the Sycamores for the 31st time in program history, a series that dates back to the 1982-83 season, while Wright State and Butler will meet for the 49th time dating back to the 1982-83 season with many of those match-ups as Horizon League rivals previously.
🔼 Fearsome Foursome. Four track and field/cross country student-athletes earned 2026 Academic All-District honors as announced by College Sports Communicators this week.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
The four Butler men to earn the recognition for their performances during the track and field and/or cross country seasons were William Zegarski, Eli Fullerton, Matthew Forrester, and Jesse Hamlin.
🔼 Fresh Faces. We are less than two months away from the return of Butler women’s soccer and this week, co-head coaches Tari St. John and Rob Alman officially announced 13 additions to the program, who will compete for the Bulldogs on the pitch beginning this fall.
The group includes three transfers who arrived at Butler for the spring 2026 semester: senior Isabella Ayau from the University of San Francisco, sophomore Riley Gumm from San Diego State, and sophomore Lily Kiliski from Boston College.
The 10 incoming freshmen arriving on campus this summer are Chrissy Graves, Emma Hamelmann, Elsa Maurer, Elise May, Sarah Monnin, Alexi Mumford, Lola Pepper, Claire Pingel, Maren Swan, and Kensey Teffner.
