🔼 Setting The Slate. Pull out your calendars, we’ve got more fall dates to lock in.

This week, the Butler volleyball team released its 2026 schedule, which features 29 regular season matches.

Highlights for the upcoming season include two tournaments hosted inside Hinkle Fieldhouse, an exhibition match-up at Purdue, and a tough BIG EAST schedule that culminates with a Senior Day match against Creighton on Nov. 8.

🔼 Welcome To The Fam. Butler men's soccer head coach Ian Sarachan has announced five additions to the roster for the upcoming 2026 season. The newcomers are Braden Benyr, Anden Ellis, Jaden Hancock, Alec Sexton, and Hudson Sullivan.

These five new Bulldogs round out Sarachan's first Butler recruiting class that included Chace Crismale, Finn Moran, and Hayden Neale signing with the program in November and transfer Haato Efune joining the program in January.

🔼 Head Of The Class. The success of the Butler baseball team wasn’t limited to the diamond this spring.

Earlier this week, five Bulldogs - David Ayers, Brock Buckley, Gavin Gilmore, Charlie Schebler and Max Winders - were recognized by College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District.

The 2026 Academic All-District Baseball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance the the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 23.

🏈 COUNTIN’ THE DAYS: 85 DAYS

Wearing #85 this fall for the Bulldogs will again be Indiana native and redshirt junior wide receiver Blake Matthews.

Matthews, who was an All-Conference performer at Carmel High School, has provided depth for Butler over the past few seasons, appearing in eight games over the past two seasons for the ‘Dawgs.
