🔼 Star Among Stars. All-Star weekend was a big one for incoming Butler freshman Baron Walker as he helped lead the Indiana All-Stars to a pair of victories over their counterparts from Kentucky.
In the two games combined, the future Bulldog poured in 35 points, while connecting on 11 of his 17 attempts from the field (65 percent).
🔼 Proud Partners. Late last week, Butler University officially partnered with Motion, an Indiana-based tech company built to support college athletic departments from the ground up.
With Motion, Butler will unify their operations under one connected system — spanning team management, communication, and compliance. The platform is designed to reduce the complexity of managing multiple disconnected tools, giving coaches, administrators, and athletes a cleaner and more efficient daily experience.
🔼 Almost That Time. A little over 60 hours from now, Butler track standout William Zegarski will be stepping onto the track looking to put the finishing touches on an already historic season.
Zegarski is one of 24 runners who will be vying for the top spot in the 10000m at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. on Wednesday evening.
The race is set to get underway at 10:56 p.m. ET.

🔼 In Good Company. While some visit Vegas for many reasons, Butler women’s basketball associate head coach Steven Asher will be getting to work among some of the country’s most distinguished coaches.
Asher was among the group of coaches that were selected to participate in the 2026 TopConnect Basketball Symposium presented by Just Play Sports Solutions, today at UNLV.
The invitation-only event will bring together 50 rising leaders in collegiate basketball for a unique professional development and networking experience. Through educational sessions, leadership presentations, and TopConnect's signature speed dating, participants will engage directly with athletic directors, conference commissioners, search firm executives, and industry leaders from across the country.
