🔼 Among The Elite. A trio of Butler connections are set to take on some of the best talent in the country at this week’s USATF Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York, N.Y.

Butler alums William Cuthbertson and Angelina Ellis, along with current assistant coach Mikayla Reed and will all lace them up and compete against the best with races set to begin tomorrow and run through Sunday.

🔼 Top Dawgs. The track wasn’t the only place that the Butler track & field programs found success this past year.

This week, both programs garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic team awards for the 2025-26 season.

In addition, Butler had six male student-athletes earn USTFCCCA All-Academic individual honors in track & Field. William Zegarski, Eli Fullerton, Matthew Forrester, Jesse Hamlin, Austin Gabay, and Brendan Thomas earned All-Academic individual honors.

🐶 More On The Academic Accolades

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Butler Football this fall. The Bulldogs will
host Georgetown College on August 29 at 1 p.m.

The date: October 17, 2015
The opponent: Davidson

Five Bulldogs found the endzone to complement a stellar defensive effort as Butler overmatched Davidson, 3️⃣8️⃣-7, at the Butler Bowl.

QB Matt Shiltz led the Bulldogs attack, completing 22 of 33 attempts for 218 yards passing. He connected with running back Rico Watson on a 30-yard touchdown strike to start the scoring halfway through the first quarter. From there, the remaining scores all came on the ground as John Hall, Anthony Scaccia and Duvante Lane scored their first career touchdowns to go along with a Shiltz one-yard quarterback keeper.
