🔼 Viva Las Vegas. Tomorrow, a pair of former ‘Dawgs kick off action at the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Michael Ajayi (Charlotte Hornets) and Jahmyl Telfort (Los Angeles Clippers) will both be in action when games get underway.
Thursday’s opening day of games in Vegas include Ajayi and the Hornets taking on Orlando at 7:30 on Prime Video, while Telfort and the Clippers battle Sacramento at 11 pm on ESPN.
🔼 Seeing Silver. New Butler women’s hoops standout Judit Valero and the U21 Spain 3×3 squad earned second place at this past weekend’s FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League in Bucharest.
Valero and Spain went 2-1, earning victories over Serbia (20-17) and Greece (21-13).

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Butler Football this fall. The Bulldogs will
host Georgetown College on August 29 at 1 p.m.
Entering his junior season with the ‘Dawgs, Indianapolis native Oscar Kirch is ready for a breakout year.
Wearing #5️⃣2️⃣, Kirch has seen time in 11 games over the past two seasons, including collecting four tackles in nine games last year for Butler.
A Cathedral High School grad, he helped his squad to sectional championships in 2022 and 2023 and a 5A State Championship in 2021.

This past weekend, Major League Baseball announced its All-Stars for this year’s game scheduled for next Tuesday in Philadelphia.
