🔼 Let The Games Begin. For the first time in 288 days (not that we’ve been counting), the Butler Soccer squad will step back on the pitch on Sunday evening for the 2026 season opener.
Butler women's soccer co-head coaches Tari St. John and Rob Alman are excited for the 2026 season as 12 Bulldog veterans are joined by three transfer student-athletes and 10 freshmen to complete a new-look roster.
Sunday’s season opener at Wright State is set to kickoff at 5 p.m.
🔼 Turkey Tip-Off. No better way to spend the Thanksgiving break than with the ‘Dawgs, right?
On Thursday, the Butler women's basketball team announced that they will participate in the 2026 UNLV Thanksgiving Turkey Tip-Off, which is slated for Nov. 25-27 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
BU will play games against Oral Roberts Wednesday, Nov. 25 and host UNLV Friday, Nov. 27. Both games will tip at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific; 5:30 p.m. Eastern).
🔼 Three’s Company. This week, the BIG EAST Conference announced the winners of the 2025-26 BIG EAST Sport Excellence Awards, which recognize academic and athletic achievement as well as community service.
Butler's Jesse Hamlin (Men's Indoor T&F), William Zegarski (Men's Outdoor T&F) and Hailey Conger (Softball) earned the sport excellence awards in their respective sports.
The Sport Excellence Awards are presented to one student-athlete in each BIG EAST-sponsored sport based on academic credentials, athletic accolades or performances, and volunteer service to the community.
🔼 Leading The Way. The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced this week that the Butler softball team led all Division I programs in overall team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. The Bulldogs posted an incredible 3.876 team GPA for the academic year and were one of only 14 teams with a 3.8 or better.
🏈 COUNTIN’ THE DAYS: 1️⃣5️⃣ DAYS
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Butler Football this fall. The Bulldogs will
host Georgetown College on August 29 at 1 p.m.

A familiar face is back wearing #1️⃣5️⃣ this season for the ‘Dawgs.
After spending last season at Ball State, junior defensive end Ashton Nawrocki is back at Butler looking to make an impact for the ‘Dawgs this upcoming fall.
During his first two years at Butler (2023 and 2024), Nawrocki played in 17 games, piling up 19 tackles, two TFLs, two sacks and three pass deflections.
🤔 BUTLER TRIVIA

The Butler Volleyball squad is just two weeks away from getting their 2026 campaign underway. Sawyer Jones is one of 11 returners and primed for a breakout senior season with the ‘Dawgs.
