🔼 Rampin’ It Up. We’ve eased into the fall action over the past two weeks with the soccer programs getting us going.

Now, it’s time to ramp it up.

Joining the party this weekend will be the Butler football and volleyball programs as they kick off their 2025 slates.

This weekend, the volleyball squad opens things up with their annual Big Dawg Kickoff with matches against Evansville (today at 12pm), Purdue-Fort Wayne (today at 7 pm) and Middle Tennessee State (tomorrow at 5 pm). Keep an eye out for an 🥶🥶 new look for the ‘Dawgs this weekend.

Tomorrow is the day we’ve all been waiting for as the Butler football team returns to the gridiron for their 2025 season opener when they travel to take on perennial power Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Kickoff on ESPN+ is set for 2 pm.

🏐 Previewing The Butler Volleyball Season

🏈 Previewing Saturday’s Season Opener

🔼 Runnin’ Wild. Next week, Butler’s last fall sport will join the mix as the ‘Dawgs cross country squad get set to lace them up at the Mike Baumer Classic at Wright State.

Both squads will do so as ranked programs as this week the men earned a nationally ranking at #15 overall, while women’s team earned a #10 regional ranking.

🔼 Swooshin’ It. And the partnership continues.

Earlier this week, Butler Athletics and Nike have announced a multi-year contract extension that will continue to provide Bulldog student-athletes with industry-leading apparel and equipment.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Nike will continue to serve as the official apparel provider for Butler Athletics, outfitting all teams with high-quality performance gear and team uniforms. BSN SPORTS, a leading distributor of sporting goods apparel and equipment, will facilitate a portion of the partnership.

Butler fans are able to continue to purchase officially licensed Butler Nike apparel as part of the agreement.  

🏈 YOUTH OF A NATION

Lock in your spots now! Youth Day is BACK!

The ‘Dawgs are inviting all youth football players and teams to join us on Saturday, September 6 vs Truman State! Players in eighth grade and under that wear their team jersey will get in FREE to the game!

Activities such as face painting, balloon artists, inflatable games and MORE will be at the Sellick Bowl starting at 11:30AM! Register your group for a chance to be involved in pregame and halftime festivities!
