🔼 Save The Dates. Pull out the planners, we’ve got dates to block off.

The BIG EAST portion of Butler's men's basketball schedule features six weekend home contests, beginning with a Saturday, Dec. 13 match-up at Hinkle Fieldhouse against Providence.

The entire 2025-26 BIG EAST Conference men's basketball schedule was announced Thursday, a 110-game double round-robin slate for a sixth straight year. Game times and television information will be announced at a later date.

🔼 House Protected. The Butler women’s soccer squad picked up its third victory of the season on Thursday night, protecting home turf with a 2-0 shutout win over IU Indy.

Talia Sommer and Sydney Longo both found the back of the net for the ‘Dawgs, while the Butler defense stifled the Jaguars, holding them to just two shots on goal in the contest.

Butler will wrap up non-conference action this weekend when Drake comes to town for a Sunday afternoon showdown.

🔼 Running Man. Now that’s how you start a career!

Lacing it up for the first time on the cross country course, redshirt freshman Brendan Thomas was named the BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week after a dominant performance at last weekend’s Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic in Ohio.

Thomas won the race with a time of 14:33.3 to pace the ‘Dawgs, who won the team title at the event with five of the first eight finishers.

🎉 PARTY TIME!

Tip-off may be just less than two months away, but the party is about to begin for the Dawgs.

The 2025-26 Butler Basketball Tip-Off Party is set for Monday, Sept. 15 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Join us for an exclusive opportunity to hear from Vice President and Director of Athletics Grant Leiendecker, Head Coaches Thad Matta and Austin Parkinson, along with student-athletes, as they gear up for an action-packed season under the Hinkle lights.

Included in the event will be student-athlete autograph opportunities, interactive games and activities, gameday food from Indy Anna's Catering and much more!

Hinkle Fieldhouse doors will open at 6 p.m. with the chance to hear from our coaches and student-athletes starting at 6:45 p.m.
