The inaugural Butler All Access—a block party for all Bulldog fans—is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14 at the Sellick Bowl on the Butler campus.

The FREE event is slated for 5-7 p.m., welcoming members of the Butler and surrounding communities to campus to kick off Homecoming Week on campus.

Butler All Access is designed around interactive, team-hosted activities for fans of all ages. Bulldog student-athletes will be heavily involved in the activities.

🔼 Super Saturday Night. There’s truly no place like home and the Butler Football squad showed just that with a dominant Saturday night showing over Franklin, 52-0.

The biggest story of the night was the show put on by the Butler defense, forcing six turnovers and recording its first shutout since 2024. Steven Stephany was at the center of the effort, forcing two fumbles and adding an interception.

The Bulldogs controlled the game from start to finish, piling up 512 yards of offense. QB Gabe Passini completed 14-of-20 passes for 130 yards and two TDs. On the ground, Michael Dellumo rushed for 79 yards and his first collegiate score, while Desmin Jackson added 71 yards and a TD.

🔼 Getting Defensive. One thing is for sure, Steven Stephany is leaving it all on the field in his final season at Butler.

With an absolute dominant performance in Saturday’s win over Franklin, Stephany was named he Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Week, the first such accolade of his career.

The Lafayette, Ind. native forced two fumbles and recorded an interception against Franklin all in the first half. Stephany finished the game with six total tackles, two forced fumbles, one interception and one pass breakup. Butler forced five turnovers in a game, which is tied for the second most in a game in program history.

The BIG EAST conference schedule for men’s hoops will be officially unveiled at 12 pm today.

🔼 Thrice As Nice. The Butler women’s soccer team scored three goals in the matter of 16 minutes to earn a third straight victory on Sunday afternoon, defeating visiting Central Michigan, 3-0.

Alyssa Carlson got the scoring going with under three minutes to play in the first half, and Butler didn’t give momentum up after the break, scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half when Sarah Monnin and Lola Pepper both found the back of the net.

The ‘Dawgs have now won four of their past five heading into the non-conference finale during Homecoming weekend, a Saturday afternoon tilt with Western Illinois.

🔼 Off To The Races. The Butler cross country squads got the 2026 season started this past weekend at the Spartan Invitational, hosted by Michigan State.

Sophomore Kyle Grove led the way for the Bulldogs, earning a sixth-place finish on the men’s side to lead to a second-place team finish.

Junior Hannah Moore earned a top-25 finish to pace the women’s squad.
