🔼 The Wait Is Over. Butler men’s hoops 2026-27 schedule is now complete with this week’s unveiling of the Bulldogs' 20 BIG EAST conference games.
The Bulldogs will open the conference portion of their schedule Saturday, Dec. 12, traveling to Providence.
Butler's home BIG EAST schedule includes four weekend games in addition to hosting contests at Hinkle Fieldhouse on New Year's Eve and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
🔼 Grand Opening. Behind co-medalist honors from freshman Nicholas Brooks and a top-three finish by Logan Sutto, the Butler men's golf team placed second at the season-opening RedHawk Intercollegiate at Pittsburgh Field Club.
The Bulldogs closed the tournament at eight-under 844, finishing seven strokes off the winner. Butler was followed by BIG EAST foe Seton Hall in third (846). There were 14 teams in the field.
Brooks completed his first collegiate tournament with a 54-hole total of 204 (-9). His final round included three birdies and his only bogey of the tournament.
🔼 Connect Four. After a pair of shutouts last week, the Butler women’s soccer team collected four BIG EAST weekly accolades on Monday.
Midfielder Chloe Brecht and goalkeeper Addison Ash were tabbed this week with two of the four major weekly awards in the BIG EAST, and teammates Lola Pepper and Kensey Teffner were each named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Brecht was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Ash was recognized as BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week.
🔼 Opening Act. The Butler women’s golf squad opened up its 2026-27 schedule by earning a top-five finish at the Redbird Fall Invitational.
Sophomore Addi Kooi led the way with a fifth-place individual finish.
Kooi paced the Bulldogs on the individual leaderboard, carding a 74 (+2) in the final round to finish the tournament at 220 (+4). She led the team with five birdies in the final round and nine for the tournament (in addition to an eagle in Sunday's second round).
🔼 Fall Ballin’. With 20 returners and an exciting group of newcomers, the Butler baseball squad is set to take on a four-game fall slate.
This week, head coach Blake Beemer unveiled its fall schedule, which includes two home dates with Harper College (Oct. 11) and UIC (Oct. 24).
