🔼 Featured At Fishers. It’s a perfect weekend to head on out to Fishers Event Center and check out the ‘Dawgs as they look to head into conference play with some momentum.

Hosting their final non-conference weekend of the season, the Bulldogs are set to host the annual Butler Invitational with IU Indy, Oakland and Eastern Michigan all coming to town for high-flying volleyball action.

It kicks off tonight when BU hosts IU Indy at 7 pm in a crosstown showdown, followed by a 2pm meeting with Oakland tomorrow and a 5pm nightcap with Eastern Michigan.

🏐 Previewing The Weekend

🔼 Poll Position. After a first place finish at the Mike Baumer XC Invitational earlier this month, the Butler men’s cross country team maintained its spot in the top-15 nationally, sitting once again at #15 in the latest USTFCCCA poll released earlier this week.

Brendan Thomas was named the BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week for his showing at the Mike Baumer Invite, while the Bulldogs look to prepare for their next showing later this month at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo.

The BIG EAST Championships are set for Oct. 31st in Ashland, Neb.

🔼 New Season Loading. The action is kicking into a new gear for the Butler soccer squads as both programs are set to open up BIG EAST play this weekend.

The men’s team is set to host perennial national power Georgetown tonight at 7 pm at Sellick Field, while the women hit the road to take on Marquette tomorrow night at 8 p.m.

🔼 They’re Backkk. Butler Men's Basketball will return to 93.5/107.5 The Fan as part of a multi-year agreement announced by Butler Athletics and Radio One. Butler Athletics' multimedia rightsholder Playfly Sports, the sports industry's leading revenue-maximization company, facilitated the renewed partnership.

Mark Minner and Nick Gardner will return as the broadcast pairing for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Minner will handle play-by-play duties for the 13^th consecutive season alongside Gardner, who enters his 20^th season as a Bulldogs' analyst.

If there are select-game scheduling conflicts with Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers games on 93.5/107.5 FM, Butler Basketball games would air on another of Radio One's stations, Fuego 92.7FM, in central Indiana. Fans can listen to Butler Basketball through several additional platforms throughout the season, highlighted by the Butler Sports App and through the All-Access page of ButlerSports.com.
