🔼 Home Sweet Home. Butler Volleyball returns to Hinkle Fieldhouse for the first time this season when the Bulldogs host the Indy Invite, playing three matches in three days.

The Dawgs opens against Youngstown State tomorrow night at 7 p.m., followed by Akron on Friday at 6 p.m., and Ohio on Saturday at 5 p.m. All three matches will be available on ESPN+.

The squad enters their home-opening weekend with some momentum after picking up a pair of wins at the Big Orange Bash, including a five-set victory over ACC foe, Clemson. Sawyer Jones and Jersey Loyer both earned All-Tournament Team honors.

🔼 Running Men. The Butler cross country squads are now set to open up their 2026 slate next week and the men will do so with a national ranking next to their name.

Head coach Matt Roe's Bulldogs return three men who ran at the 2025 NCAA Championships, headlined by William Zegarski, who finished 66th nationally. He is joined by Brendan Thomas and Matteo Rosio among that group.

🔼 Battling The Best. After a thrilling victory in the home opener for the Butler Football program, a tall task awaits the ‘Dawgs as they travel west to take on top-ranked Montana State on Saturday.

With Butler rolling into town, the Bobcats are coming off a national championship last season and are set to open up their home slate in front of a sold-out stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.

🔼 Making An Impact. The Sellick Bowl didn’t just host an exciting home football win this past weekend, it also hosted an impactful night on the pitch on Sunday with the Butler women’s soccer program.

The ‘Dawgs hosted their first TOPSoccer night of the season, welcoming members of the local organization to play alongside several members of this year’s team.

TOPSoccer pairs athletes with disabilities with volunteer "buddies" for inclusive soccer training and games.

🔼 Show Stopper. Facing one of the top teams in the country, Butler men’s soccer goalkeeper Brooks Boersma put on quite a shot over the weekend against #14 Indiana.

With a league-high 13 saves against the Hoosiers in a narrow 1-0 setback, Boersma earned BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week accolades.

It is the first career BIG EAST weekly accolade for the Michigan native.

🔼 Join The Party. The inaugural Butler All Access—a block party for all Bulldog fans—is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14 at the Sellick Bowl on the Butler campus.

The FREE event is slated for 5-7 p.m., welcoming members of the Butler and surrounding communities to campus to kick off Homecoming Week on campus.

Butler All Access is designed around interactive, team-hosted activities for fans of all ages. Bulldog student-athletes will be heavily involved in the activities.
