🔼 Second Helpings. After opening their 2025 fall season with a victory, the Butler men’s golf squad continued their strong start to the campaign with a runner-up finish this past weekend.

With Sunday's round of 11-under 269, the Bulldogs finished at 816 (-24). That shaved eight shots off the lead that host Ball State carried into Sunday, but the Cardinals were able to hold on to capture the team title at 813 (-27). There were 13 teams in the field.

Four Bulldogs finished among the Top 20 individually, led by Derek Tabor. Tabor placed in a tie for third at nine-under 201. His best round of the event came Sunday as he carded a five-under 65, including six birdies.

🔼 Give ‘Em Some Moore. Making her 2025 season debut, Hannah Moore led the Butler women’s cross country squad with a runner-up individual finish at Saturday's Rumble In The Fort.

Moore covered the 6K Mastodon Cross Country Course in Fort Wayne, Ind., in a time of 21:19.3. Her performance led Butler to a runner-up finish in the team standings as well.

The Kokomo, Ind. native was one of three Bulldogs among the Top 10 in the 92-runner field. Kylie Cline was seventh overall in a time of 21:39.3, one spot ahead of teammate Mckenna Mazeski (21:41.7).

🔼 We’ll Take Two, Please. Gotta love heading into conference play with momentum!

The Butler volleyball program will do exactly that as the Bulldogs picked up a Saturday sweep at the Butler Invitational at Fishers Event Center, sweeping Oakland in the first match and following it up with a 3-1 victory over Eastern Michigan.

Elise Ward and Kaylee Finnegan both earned All-Tournament honors over the weekend.

🔼 Save The Dates. Get your calendars out again, we’ve got more dates to lock in!

The BIG EAST portion of Butler's women's basketball schedule features all 10 BIG EAST opponents visiting Hinkle Fieldhouse in addition to the Bulldogs making the trip to all 10 BIG EAST cities.

Game times and television information will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Opening Act. They may have had to wait an extra 45 minutes to get it started due to weather, but the Butler women’s soccer team opened BIG EAST play on Saturday, earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw.

The Bulldogs scored twice in the first half on career-first goals from both Chloe Brecht and Emily O'Malley. The Golden Eagles responded after the break, connecting on a pair of goals within a three-minute span and leveling the score, as both teams earned a point in the BIG EAST standings.
