🔼 BIG Addition. The 2025-26 hoops season is just over a month away and the ‘Dawgs got a BIG addition, quite literally, for the upcoming year.

International big man Kevin Ndzie recently signed to join the Bulldogs for the 2025-26 season.

A 7-1 center with a nearly 7-4 wingspan from Yaounde, Cameroon, Ndzie has played in several leagues throughout Italy over the past few years. Earlier in 2025, Ndzie played with the Cameroon Senior National Team in qualifying games for 2025 FIBA AfroBasket.  

🔼 Grand Opening. Now that’s how you open a season!

The Butler women’s tennis team kicked off their 2025-26 season in grand fashion, dominating the competition at the University of Indianapolis Fall Tournament over the weekend.

Butler posted a record of 19-6 in singles matches and a 10-2 mark in doubles play.

Chase Metcalf (3-0), Sophie Parr (3-0), Sienna Miles (3-0), Brooke Arington (2-0), and Lauren Cook (2-0) were unblemished in singles play. In doubles, the teams of Metcalf and Parr and Arington and Miles each went 3-0.

🔼 Steady Showing. The Butler women’s golf squad posted a sixth-place finish in a 15-team field at the 2025 Red Bandanna Invitational, hanging on to the spot on the leaderboard they held after the opening 36 holes.

The Bulldogs carded a team round of 314 Tuesday after Monday rounds of 313 and 311, finishing with a 54-hole total of 938 (+74).
 
Kelli Scheck led the Bulldogs at 18-over 234, finishing in a tie for 31st. Sophie McGinnis trailed her by one stroke, finishing in a tie for 34th. Both Ashley Freitas and Addi Kooi tied for 36th at 236 (+20).

This Saturday, the Butler football team returns to The Sellick Bowl for Homecoming 2025, hosting Marist for the second time in the four seasons on Homecoming weekend.
