🔼 No Place Like Home. This Saturday, the ‘Dawgs will be looking for their fifth straight home opening victory when Truman State comes to town for a 1 pm showdown at the Sellick Bowl.

There is truly no place like the Sellick Bowl for the Butler football program, who is 15-4 in home games over the past three seasons.

🔼 Starting Strong. It was quite a start to the season for the Butler volleyball program and junior Kaylee Finnegan.

Not only did her squad go 3-0 this past weekend, but Finnegan was named the BIG EAST Setter of the Week earlier this week.

For Finnegan, she posted 128 assists over the course of the 3 matches. Finnegan averaged 10.67 assists per set over the weekend. In the finale of the Big Dawg Kickoff, Butler as a team recorded a hitting percentage of 73% in Set 2 in route to a 25-8 Set 2 win and a 3-0 match victory. 

🔼 Fall Ball. The Butler Lacrosse team is set to compete in 7 games this fall. The fall swing will begin with Butler traveling to Louisville's campus to play 3 games on October 5th.

The team will then play their final four games of the fall in the Indianapolis area with three of those games being played at Varsity Field. The Dawgs will play 3 games on campus on October 19th. 

Head Coach Maggie Zentgraf is heading into her fourth season at the helm of Butlers Women's Lacrosse program. Zentgraf will return 13 players from last year's squad for the 2026 season.

The ‘Dawgs are inviting all youth football players and teams to join us on Saturday, September 6 vs Truman State! Players in eighth grade and under that wear their team jersey will get in FREE to the game!

Activities such as face painting, balloon artists, inflatable games and MORE will be at the Sellick Bowl starting at 11:30AM! Register your group for a chance to be involved in pregame and halftime festivities!
