🔼 Sellick Saturdays. Tomorrow, the ‘Dawgs will be looking for their fifth straight home opening victory when Truman State comes to town for a 1 pm showdown at the Sellick Bowl.

There is truly no place like the Sellick Bowl for the Butler football program, who is 15-4 in home games over the past three seasons.

The ‘Dawgs will be looking to win their fifth straight home opener when kickoff gets underway.

🔼 Party Time. Tip-off may be two months away, but the party is about to begin for the Dawgs.

The 2025-26 Butler Basketball Tip-Off Party is set for Monday, Sept. 15 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
 
Join us for an exclusive opportunity to hear from Vice President and Director of Athletics Grant Leiendecker, Head Coaches Thad Matta and Austin Parkinson, along with student-athletes, as they gear up for an action-packed season under the Hinkle lights.

Included in the event will be student-athlete autograph opportunities, interactive games and activities, gameday food from Indy Anna's Catering and much more!

Hinkle Fieldhouse doors will open at 6 p.m. with the chance to hear from our coaches and student-athletes starting at 6:45 p.m.

🔼 Ready To Run. The final Butler fall program will get things underway this evening when the cross country squads hit the course at Fairborn Community Park, just outside of Dayton, Ohio.

The ‘Dawgs will be running in the annual Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic, hosted by Wright State. The men's race begins at 6 p.m., while the women will start at 6:45 p.m.
 
Head coach Matt Roe's squad will include 15 runners -- seven from the men's side and eight on the women's side.
